Step One: Learning all you need to know about starting a website

Dynamic Website - A Dynamic website is created using more complex codes and is more flexible compared to the Static website. For instance, a Dynamic website has an area where you can log in and out as well as the ability to change various parts of the site if you so desire which is perfect for updating news or information. This is because each page is constructed based on the information in a database, and the information in that database can be changed via another interface.

Dynamic sites can reduce ongoing maintenance costs if you don't want to change things yourself with a webpage editor or with the HTML. They cost more to develop, as they require more complex coding and a content management utility need to be developed to help you manage your website information.

Another benefit of Dynamic websites is that they allow you to change only the content of the site and not the design, so you will not be able to accidentally break the visual style of the site and is very much adjustable as your website expands.

E-commerce Website - An E-commerce website incorporates the functionality to display a catalogue of products and has the ability to accept online payments. It is the kind of website that was developed to allow businesses to sell products over the internet to customers.

d.    Website design and implementation contract procedures

Upon reaching an agreement about your website scope, time frame and pricing, we at GuamHost.com will forward the website design and construction contract to you to review and sign. Once your signature has been added to the contract you may attach your 50% deposit to be sent to us.

e.    About your deposit

Our GuamHost.com team will only start the project after securing the signed contract and the 50% deposit. Your expected time frame for completion will not begin until both of these requirements are met. At this time we will send you a full contract and notification that work has begun on your website.

Note: Monthly Updates and Maintenance is not included in the contract.

Step Two: Content, Layout and Design of your Website

f.    Your website content and information

Once your deposit and signed contract have been received by GuamHost.com, you will be contacted by your personal web manager with a request for all needed content and information from you. Any deadline and/or time frames arranged in the contract will be contingent on the receipt of the requested content and information within a reasonable time period of time. Also please note that unless you provide all content and information needed in full, time frames will be adjusted accordingly until such time when all content and information had been supplied.

Note: Web development progress will be available for you to view as the process continues.

g.    Website design concept submission

GuamHost.com will be submitting a conceptual design of your website to you in just a matter of days. Once you approved the design and feel, GuamHost.com will go from there and continue on the mechanics of website building for your project.

h.    Acquisition of photographs

During the web development portion of the process, GuamHost.com or you as the client may determine if there is a need for photographs. Should it come to pass that we must purchase photographs, 100% of that cost will be passed on to you as the client. If you have not already done so, you may request a free no obligation web site quotation.

Step Three: Website development and programming

The website layout flow and design are incorporated with the functions and interactivity set forth in your agreement.

i.    Menus, Navigation and Web contents

This part is for the development of all of the menus, navigation and content pages needed for the website. All scripting such as data driven content will also be built and populated at this time. Note: Please have a look at other websites we have completed in our Portfolio.

GuamHost.com will now implement all content provided to us like the logo, text and photos that you had given us during the content gathering process. Our team needs you to deliver all content in a timely fashion in order to ensure that your web site launches on time.
